501(C)(3)

Because of an amazing story of love and perseverance, the Kent Bramlett Foundation launched an extensive restoration of Hundred Oaks Castle in 1997.

Five years prior, in October of 1992, a tragic car accident claimed the lives of Kent Bramlett, and his precious girlfriend, Renee Connelly. The Foundation was founded shortly thereafter, by PK and Shirley Bramlett and their younger son, Robert. While preserving the memory of their precious Kent, they chose to celebrate his life by helping others through the grief that follows

after the loss of a loved one.

They have guided many people through seasons of despair, allowing their faith and strength to shine as a beacon to others. The Castle has become home to numerous memorials and tributes, inviting sorrow to wash over its presence, and hope to bloom with each new day.

There is much happiness here, and each detail is curated in love and honor, carefully treasured memories and generosity of spirit. As the gardens come alive and the dogwoods bloom, the Castle stands defiant to destruction, battle-scarred and beautiful,

a mirror and reminder to carry on.

"the will to win"

By Kent Bramlett
Written in September of 1992

The will to win is something that deep down every person has

whether they know it or not.

God did not put us here on this earth to be losers,

so the only way we should be losers is through faults of our own

or mistakes we make.

Many people try daily to better themselves,

to reach personal goals, to move up their respective ladders, etc.

The problem with most people is that,

"In this world of give and take,

there are not enough people willing

to give what it takes."

Many people don't have strong wills, positive attitudes,

or fall short just because they're lazy

and won't give what it takes.

This is ridiculous!

The only way humans should lose

is by not trying or quitting.

Anybody can do anything they want

if they will just put their mind to it.

There is a time to let things happen

and a time to make things happen.

When people realize they must make things happen,

take action, and move towards their goals,

then they will become winners.

If setbacks arise and cause problems,

people must use these to better themselves

and keep on going.

The only way to lose is to quit.

Galatians 6:9 states, "...for at the proper time

we will reap a harvest

if we do not give up."

Let's begin the harvest!
