Shirley is a designer and artist, listed in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the Southeast. Her paintings grace walls of American homes and businesses to international estates, castles and government buildings.



Known for her prolific collection of flower bouquets, Shirley brings elegance and charm to every arrangement, from dainty posies and gathered wildflowers, to daunting displays of proud English roses and avant-garde tulips.



Be they fields of Winchester, Tennessee, or Winchester, England... Shirley is inspired by the open beauty of the countryside and the garden-lined paths that create borders and opportunities to wander.



Snowy scenes are a magical opportunity in painting, creating challenge through white reflections and tints of blue noticed first by artistic eyes. Shirley's thoughtful approach pulls the viewer into each scene, preserving a moment in time.



shirley began painting... after the birth of her first son, Kent.



Her paintbrush is her expression, and it has carried her through many seasons of beauty and joy, pain and sorrow.
She has painted from cottages and castles all over the world,
and continues to use her talents to raise money for charities.

When she is not painting from the inspiring setting of her 125-year-old cottage studio in Nashville, Tennessee, Shirley retreats to her second studio in the countryside,

here at nearly 200-year old Hundred Oaks Castle,

flanked by two-story, rusted walls, burned brick and stained glass.
